IAM Specialist
Venesky-Brown’s client, a public sector organisation in Glasgow / Dundee, is currently looking to recruit an IAM Specialist for an initial 4 month contract with potential to extend on a rate of £681/day (Inside IR35). This role will be hybrid working with 2 days per week in the office.
 
Responsibilities:
 
– Play a leading role in scoping, defining, and delivering a programme of work related to improving technical, process, and systems components of effective identity and access management. Your focus will be on understanding current capabilities, identifying improvements, establishing a series of projects to deliver improvements, and defining our overall strategic approach in conjunction with key stakeholders and senior leadership. 
 
Essential Skills:
 
– Relevant practical experience of technical project management and delivery of security solutions. In particular, the scoping and delivery of controls and technologies related to identity and access management domains. 
– Background in discovery activities and strategic direction-setting including requirements capture, stakeholder consultation, management of internal and external ICT delivery partners and management of multi-disciplinary IT teams to deliver effective digital and/or security solutions is essential for this role.
– Experience in working closely with business and procurement colleagues and using various project management methodologies, such as Agile is essential. 
– Previous experience working in the public sector, and with identity and access management solutions or other security-related domains would be advantageous.
