Administrator
Venesky-Brown’s client, a public sector organisation in Edinburgh, is currently looking to recruit 2 x Administrators for a 3-month contract on a rate of £15.02 PAYE. This role will be hybrid. Work from home with 1 day every 2 weeks in the office.
Candidates must have a basic disclosure certificate dated within last 3 months or be willing to apply.
Responsibilities:
– Adding correspondence to MiCase (SG correspondence handling system), in line with targets agreed with the line manager.
– Management of their respective caseload, prioritising effectively to ensure correspondence is processed and reallocations actioned effectively and timeously.
– Process hard mail correspondence in line with regulations and ensure timely processing of the hard mail to the correct business area.
– Manage and respond to calls received from the public, routing queries to the relevant business area within the organisation where required; providing advice over the phone or directing the caller to the published information source if it is available.
– Deal with difficult callers in a professional, helpful but detached manner following the guidance for handling such calls, escalating particularly contentious callers as required.
– Reviewing and publishing of FOIs on the organisation’s website.
