Assessment Administrator
Venesky-Brown’s client, a public sector organisation in Dalkeith, is currently looking to recruit an Assessment Administrator for delivery of services during the upcoming main exam diet. This role is for an initial 3-month contract with the potential to extend it at a rate of £11.70/hour PAYE. This role will be based onsite in Dalkeith.
Outline of duties
Assist the Principal Assessor who is responsible for interaction with varied groups to ensure consistent application of national standards and to ensure the subject integrity of their teams’ decision-making in relation to the externally set/assessed Course assessment arrangements.
This will be dealing with Pre examination or examination responses which are unable to be assessed within the normal marking meeting.
The process is also used when the issue does not fit into any other established process and the content can only be assessed by the Principal Assessor.
Assisting the Principal Assessor who is responsible for marking of any unmarked scripts or scripts requiring to be re-marked.
Essential Skills
Office-based experience required.
Competent IT skills specifically in (Excel & Word)
Requires good attention to detail and the ability to multitask.
Confident telephone manner and excellent customer service skills
Ability to work independently and prioritise and manage own workload in accordance with staff operating procedures.
