Community Works Operative (RCV Driver


 Venesky-Brown’s client, a public sector organisation in Inverness, is currently looking to recruit a Community Works Operative (RCV Driver)  on rates of £12.96 (PAYE). The working patterns for these roles 7.00am to 3.00pm – Monday to Thursday and 7.00am to 2.30pm – Friday. Overtime may be required to complete daily duties.

 

Essential Skills:

 

– Preferably clean LGV license.

– Current CPC, and Tacho Card or ability to upgrade quickly.

– A complete understanding of all legal responsibilities that come with an LGV license.

– Good general education.

– Proven ability to work within a team environment and proven ability to take the initiative within that environment.

– Ability to perform minor vehicle maintenance within the legal framework and Highland Council Policy.

– Ability to communicate and trouble shoot vehicle issues to Highland Council workshop and Forepersons in a precise manner.

– Good communication skills and client facing skills.

– Proven awareness of Health and Safety in a dangerous environment.
