Team Manager (Glasgow)
Venesky-Brown’s client, a public sector organisation in Dundee / Glasgow, is currently looking to recruit a Team Manager for an initial 6 month contract with potential to extend on a rate of £17.59/hour PAYE. The working hours are 35 hours per week. This role will be a hybrid of working at home and in the office.
Responsibilities:
– Support, motivate and develop your team – creating a strong team environment where everyone plays their part.
– Lead your team by example every day.
– Responsible for quality assurance, performance, attendance management, diversity and fairness at work, assisting your team with any questions or concerns they may have.
– Our People Strategy is really important – you’ll support it by carrying out monthly conversations and appraisals with colleagues.
– Encourage your team to be confident in bringing ideas and improvements to the table.
– We need to deal with enquiries sensitively, appropriately and consistently. You’re a role model who will demonstrate this every day.
– Manage future changes to policy and processes with your team efficiently.
– Work with colleagues to continuously improve the service we provide to the people of Scotland.
