IT Scrum Master – Outside IR35
Venesky-Brown’s client, a public sector organisation in Edinburgh / Glasgow, is currently looking to recruit an IT Scrum Master for an initial 6 month contract with option to extend on a rate of £450-£500/day (Outside IR35). This role will be predominately remote working with collaboration time in the office.
Responsibilities:
– Expected to provide essential management of the technical project team and co-ordinate tasks, activities, timescales and resources across the partnership to direct throughput of work, driving forward achievements, meeting key milestones and deliverables.
– Co-ordinating the team to ensure that the organisation are participating in Partnership meetings and are represented appropriately
– The role will also be expected to represent the organisation on the following regular DESC Partnership meetings:
Essential Skills:
– Minimum 3 years’ Scrum Master experience
– Experience of managing a large scale, cross agency, technical and complex project.
– Experience of communicating to all levels of the business, end users, developers and senior managers to devise and plan the required solutions, tasks, and activities.
– Experience in building a learning-culture and knowledge-sharing environment, building cross-functional teams, and removing single points of failure
– Demonstrable understanding of scope, schedule, and planning; understanding of time management, resource cost management.
Desirable Skills:
– Certified Scrum Master and/or SAFe-certified
– Experience of team development and facilitation for better creativity and continuous improvement in team efficiency.
– Conceptual understanding of software development processes and technologies
