Student Recruitment Assistant
Venesky-Brown’s client, a public sector organisation in Edinburgh, is currently looking to recruit Student Recruitment Assistant for a contract until the 31st December 2024 on a rate of £15.33 per hour PAYE. This role will be based onsite.
Responsibilities:
– To provide admin support in its campaigns to attract individuals from across the world.
– The post holder will create content for promotional material for the degree programmes in digital and print format (including social media campaigns, videos, blog and web articles)
– Respond to queries from prospective students.
– Support the organisation and running of on campus and online events
– Use analytics to monitor the performance of social media and website campaigns; and use analytics to monitor student conversion, engagement and matriculation.
– The postholder will work closely with student marketing and recruitment colleagues, student ambassadors, teaching staff and will engage with prospective students and their parents/carers.
Essential Skills:
– Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
– Excellent team working skills, with the ability to work effectively with colleagues
– Excellent customer service skills, providing professional, accurate and timley responses to enquiries
– Attention to detail
– Commitment to guidance, policy and procedures (such as data protection, copyright) (training will be provided)
– Digital skills, including experience using social media platforms and MS Office suite
Desirable Skills:
– Experience in the following settings: marketing, customer service, event management
– Planning and creating video content
– Evaluating digital campaigns and events
– Experience using digital tools such as email newsletters and graphic design software (e.g. Canva)
