Commercial Manager (IT) – Outside IR35
Venesky-Brown’s client, a public sector organisation in Glasgow, is currently looking to recruit a Commercial Manager (IT) for an initial 5 month contract on a rate of Circa £400/day (Outside IR35). This role will be based onsite in Glasgow.
Responsibilities:
– Assist the organisation’s move to a new ICT deliver model and transition the current ICT provider into a new modern service provision.
– Reviewing contracts and identifying compliance issues.
– Monitoring contract performance and identifying risks with recommended solutions.
– Maintaining accurate records of all contract activities, including compliance documentation, audit reports, and correspondence.
Essential Skills:
– Must have excellent analytical skills and attention to detail in reviewing contracts and identifying compliance issues. Must be able to review and interpret contracts to understand the obligations, rights, and responsibilities of all parties.
– Monitor contract performance to ensure all parties meet their obligations and the terms and conditions are fulfilled.
– Ability to identify potential risks related to contract performance and compliance and recommend solutions to mitigate those risks.
– Able to maintain accurate records of all contract activities, including compliance documentation, audit reports, and correspondence.
Desirable Skills:
– Strong communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and external partners.
– Ability to work independently and manage multiple contracts and compliance projects simultaneously.
– Strong organisational skills with the ability to prioritise and manage deadlines.
– Proactive problem-solving and critical thinking abilities.
– Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment with evolving priorities.
