Supplier and Contracts Manager – Outside IR35
Venesky-Brown’s client, a public sector organisation in Glasgow, is currently looking to recruit a Supplier and Contracts Manager for an initial 4 month contract with option to extend on a rate of c.£400/day (Outside IR35). This role will be based in Glasgow.
Responsibilities:
– Assist the organisation move to a new ICT multi-supplier delivery model by the 1st April 2025 and transition the current ICT provider into a new modern service provision in their contract extension.
Essential Skills:
– Significant experience in a commercial environment.
– Highly skilled at understanding complex contracts and managing suppliers and their obligations.
– Skilled at working collaboratively in a complex environment and driving performance achievement and improvements.
– Sound understanding of intricate commercial positions and financial information.
– Data-driven mindset of service excellence and customer satisfaction.
– Ability to analyse trends to drive improvements.
– A confident communicator that can demonstrate close attention to detail and convey technical information to non-technical audiences.
– Skilled in managing complex relationships at a senior level.
– Proven ability to work creatively and analytically in a problem-solving environment.
– Ability to take a proactive and collaborative approach to working within a complex and changing environment, influencing and working alongside a range of diverse stakeholders and external service providers.
Desirable Skills:
– Experience of contract management specifically in an IT environment.
