Personal Assistant
Venesky-Brown’s client, a public sector organisation in Bishopbriggs, is currently looking to recruit a Governors PA for an initial 4 month contract with potential to extend on a rate of £14.72/hour PAYE – working 37 hours per week – 8am-4.30pm. This role will be based onsite.
Responsibilities:
– Provide comprehensive administrative support to the Governor, including document preparation, recording and producing accurate minutes, secretarial support, meeting room bookings and diary management.
– Coordinate official correspondence (TOCs) and confidential complaints (PCF2s) ensuring they are accurately recorded and processed within the appropriate timescales.
– Collate and report critical business data using Business Objects, Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and PR2.
– Collation and redaction of Subject Requests in line with GDPR principles
– Record and prepare all the relevant documentation for any Loss or Damaged Property claims.
– Maintain record filing systems for all records in line with the Document Retention policy.
Essential Skills:
– Five National 5 at Grade C or above (or equivalent), which should include English and Maths/Arithmetic or relevant experience.
– Previous experience in all aspects of administration including recording and producing accurate minutes.
– Strong working knowledge of IT and Microsoft Office packages (Excel, Word and Outlook) and records management experience.
– Ability to work individually and as part of a team
– Ability to effectively prioritise workload to meet departmental and organisational deadlines.
