Accounts Payable Assistant
Venesky-Brown’s client, a public sector organisation in Swindon, is currently looking to recruit an Accounts Payable Assistant for an initial 3 month contract on a rate of £13.10/hour PAYE – working 36 hours per week. This role will be a hybrid of working at home and in the office.
Responsibilities:
– Accurately check and process payment transactions in line with organisational and customers’ Service Level Agreement Key Performance Indicators, providing first contact point customer respond and delivering timely, efficient and effective administrative support.
– Accurately process supplier invoices, grants, payment requests, volunteer expense claims and associated transactions (including BACS rejects, cancelled and uncleared cheques), in line with desk procedures.
– Also carrying out Accounts Payable processing related control checks as required.
Essential Skills:
– A high level of numerical and verbal reasoning
– Confident and articulate when communicating verbally or in writing with a range of people
– Good attention to detail
– Take responsibility for your own work.
