Admin Assistant
Venesky-Brown’s client, a public sector organisation in Dundee, is currently looking to recruit an Administrative Assistant for a contract until 27th February 2026 with possibility of extension on a rate of £16.52/hour (PAYE).
Responsibilities:
– To remove duplicate entries from the database
– To contact contacts to request missing information from database entries and populate this information once received
– To undertake updates to entries based on data cleansing information provided by the Data and improvement officer
– To review accounts submitted for personal information and redact such information prior to publication.
– To respond to queries from organisation on the telephone and by email.
– To undertake checks of customers against assessment criteria, escalating in accordance with procedures.
– Process low risk case work in accordance with published procedures.
– Other ad-hoc administrative duties
Essential Skills:
– Experience of public facing work, including dealing with telephone calls and communicating via email.
– Experience using IT systems and databases to input, update and manage information accurately, and confidence in new systems.
– Experience in delivering a range of administrative tasks, managing competing priorities and maintaining accurate records to support wider organisational work.
– Ability to follow procedures and apply them consistently.
– BPSS clearance is mandatory.
