Administration Support Assistant
Venesky-Brown’s client, a public sector organisation in Dundee, is currently looking to recruit 2 x Business Support Assistants – Corporate Support for contracts until 31st March 2026 on rates of £13.84/hour (PAYE). These roles will be hybrid based with a minimum of 2 days per week in the office.
Candidates must have a Level 2 (Standard) Disclosure Scotland certificate or be willing to apply.
Responsibilities:
– Prepare information and correspondence in a clear and concise manner ensuring accuracy and compliance with corporate style.
– Provide general office business support as required as part of the office team. This will include:
– Reception cover
– Stationery management
– Supporting the online room booking system in relation to setting out rooms for meetings and events.
– Process requisitions, orders and invoices using the organisation’s purchase ordering processes and systems.
– Schedule meetings and events.
– Distribute meeting agendas and related documentation according to deadlines.
– Attend meetings in order to prepare action records.
– Input, maintain and extract data and information within the digital and manual systems.
Essential Skills:
– Knowledge and understanding of business support role at a similar level.
– You will be educated to SCQF Level 5 or have equivalent experience.
– Excellent working knowledge of Microsoft Office software.
– Excellent communication (written and verbal) skills.
– Good interpersonal skills.
– Excellent planning, organisational skills and attention to detail.
– Take a flexible, positive approach to work and is a team player.
– Works co-operatively and supportively with others.
Desirable Skills:
– Experience of working with external/internal contacts at all levels.
– Experience of working within an office environment.
– Experience of working with bespoke IT systems/databases.
– Understanding or experience of working within a hybrid working system.
