Administrator
Contract length: Until the end of September 2026
Pay rate: £15.01/hour PAYE
Location: Glasgow
Venesky-Brown’s client, a public sector organisation in Glasgow, is currently looking to recruit an Administrator until the end of September 2026 on a rate of £15.01/hour PAYE – working 35 hours per week. This role will be based in Glasgow.
Essential Skills:
– Ability to manage and triage shared inboxes, prioritise urgent immigration/visa enquiries, respond to routine queries, and escalate complex cases appropriately.
– Hands-on experience navigating SITS Client and e:Vision to retrieve, update, and audit student records and upload key documentation.
– Working knowledge of basic UK Student visa requirements and the record-keeping standards needed to support institutional sponsor obligations.
– Proven skill in validating large datasets with high accuracy using Excel functions (e.g., VLOOKUPs, filters, data audits) to spot discrepancies and missing evidence across systems.
– Experience supporting students directly, demonstrating empathy and professionalism when dealing with distressed individuals or complex circumstances, via email and over the phone.
– Ability to work independently to investigate data discrepancies, liaise with stakeholders, and drive cases to resolution within strict deadlines.
– Track record of handling sensitive personal data in full compliance with statutory and institutional privacy standards.
