Administrator
Venesky-Brown’s client, a public sector organisation in Edinburgh, is currently looking to recruit an Administrator for a 3-month contract on a rate of £15.02 PAYE, with the potential to extend. This role will be hybrid, work from home with as well as coming into the office around twice per week. Hours will be Monday to Friday, 37 hours per week.
Applicants must have a basic Disclosure Scotland Certificate or be willing to apply.
Responsibilities:
Key duties
-Manage and respond to calls from the general public, routing queries to the relevant business area within the Scottish Government where required; providing advice over the phone or directing the caller to the published information source if it is available.
-Taking Calls
-Deal with difficult callers in a professional, helpful but detached manner following the guidance for handling such calls, escalating particularly contentious callers as required.
-Process hardmail correspondence in line with regulations and ensure timely processing of the hardmail to the correct business area.
Duties may also include
-Adding correspondence to MiCase (SG correspondence handling system), in line with targets agreed with the line manager.
-Management of their respective caseload, prioritising effectively to ensure correspondence is processed and reallocations actioned effectively and timeously.
-Reviewing and publishing of FOIs on the website.
