Administrator
Venesky-Brown’s client, a public sector organisation in Edinburgh, is currently looking to recruit a Part Time Marketing and Communications Administrator for a contract until March 2025 on a rate of £15.57/hour PAYE. This role is for 18 hours per week and very flexible on days worked.
Candidates will require a basic Disclosure dated within last 4 months or be willing to apply.
Responsibilities:
– Be the first point of call for the Marketing and Communications Department for internal and external enquiries; managing info and input email addresses.
– Arranging internal and external meetings and events including organising venues, refreshments and security passes as required.
– Support travel and accommodation arrangements, expenses and credit card returns, and ensure costs are coded to the correct budget.
– Liaise with colleagues from across the organisation administering the distribution and collation of information for the departments to ensure good communication.
– Collate department information for reporting purposes, keeping accurate records and liaising with colleagues across the department as required.
– Collating information to help count the carbon footprint of the department.
– General admin duties such as stocking office supplies, printing documents, filing, dealing with IT requirements.
– Support the Head of Department with duties such as running their diaries, dealing with correspondence and organising paperwork.
– Be committed to good health & safety and access practice and ensure familiarity with organisation’s health & safety and access policies, procedures and guidelines.
– To undertake any other reasonably required duties as instructed by line manager or someone acting on their behalf, in addition to the role specific responsibilities detailed above.
