Administrator
Venesky-Brown’s client, a public sector organisation in Edinburgh, is currently looking to recruit an Administrative for a 4-6 week and has the potential to be extended. The role is hybrid and the pay rate will be £15.82 per / hour PAYE. The working hours are 35 hours per week, 9am – 5pm Monday to Friday.
Responsibilities:
– Scheduling internal and external meetings, taking into account the availability of key personal and meeting requirements
– Preparing itineraries and agendas for meetings, events and visits from external stakeholders
– Provide comprehensive administrative support to a variety of governance board meetings and other senior meetings. Playing a pivotal role in the smooth running of these boards by supporting the preparation of agendas, collating documents, taking meeting minutes and action recording and tracking
– Gathering RSVPs and dietary requirements, booking venues, ordering catering and supporting any logistics of meeting delivery
Essential Skills:
– Minimum of 3 years of experience working as an administrator at senior level
– Experience of diary and email meeting/event arranging
– Experience of servicing committee meetings
– Excellent time management and commitment to timely delivery of tasks
– Meticulous attention to detail
– Ability to show good judgement in handling people in different administrative scenarios
– Experience of arranging meetings, via Zoom, Microsoft Teams, and Skype
– Strong Microsoft Skills, including PowerPoint and Excel
– Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to build good relationships

– Experience working in busy administrative role
