Administrator
Venesky-Brown’s client, a public sector organisation in Galashiels, is currently looking to recruit x 10 Administrators for initial 18 month contracts on a rate of £13.81/ hour PAYE – working 35 hours per week. These roles will be hybrid working with at least one day in the office per week.
Responsibilities:
– Assist the collation and processing of customer information accurately and securely, maintaining member and scheme records in compliance with all data regulations
– Undertake data entry, systems filing and indexing, and storage of all member applications and third party requests efficiently.
– Receive, evaluate, analyse and prioritise customer requests, assessing information across multiple schemes, indexing all incoming mail (including information received through digital sources) into the correct workflow and directing inquiries to appropriate area.
– Identifying priority/urgent casework or customer queries, allocating to the most appropriate area within the organisation to ensure an efficient and accurate response within agreed timescales.
– Use MS Office and in-house administration systems
– Support administrators and officers in provision of data entry and collation to enable them to make accurate decisions or referring the enquiry to the appropriate area within the organisation.
Essential Skills:
– Communicating confidently producing accurate numeric and well-structured written work.
– Ability to work as part of a team, maintaining good working relationships and contributing to the teams overall performance.
– Good organisational skills with the ability to prioritise and plan work and deliver a high level of customer service.
– Confident in using IT systems to manage, source and present information clearly and concisely.
BPSS or a Basic Disclosure from the last 3 months would be advantageous.
