Venesky-Brown’s client, a public sector organisation in Edinburgh, is currently looking to recruit 3 x Administration Officers for 6 months, post holders will be expected to work a proportion of the week in the office with an optional 2 working from home days each week on completion of initial training. 
The pay rate will be £15.88 per hour.  
 
Applicants must have a basic disclosure Scotland certificate dated within last 3 months or be willing to apply.  
 
Responsibilities: 
 
-Handling of applications received – accurately creating applicant records using the Case Management System (CMS), including the scanning and recording of personal documents. 
-Responsible for initial triage of applications, identifying outstanding information and signposting applicants on how to progress this. 
-General administrative duties, including filing, scanning, photocopying, acknowledgement and secure inward, outward and onward processing of mail, in a timely manner. 
-Working closely with both case workers and unit managers to offer day-to-day support. 
-Management of consumables i.e. printed application forms, guidance etc. and other stationary items. 
-Work flexibly as part of a team to perform other tasks as required.  
 
Skills: 
 
-Demonstrate strong interpersonal skills and resilience 
-Advanced administrative experience within an operational setting is desirable.
