Venesky Brown Recruitment is delighted to be working in partnership with the Qualifications Scotland to recruit over 200 temporary staff including multiple Administrators. 
These roles are based full time at the Qualifications Scotland Centre in Dalkeith and offer a fantastic opportunity to gain valuable experience in a fast-paced, customer-focused environment, with full training and ongoing support provided. 
 
Shift Pattern Available – Monday to Friday 

The Role 
As an Administrator, you’ll play a vital role in delivering a high-quality service to Qualifications Scotland customers. You’ll provide high level, quality customer service and administrative support to enable the delivery of Qualifications Scotland products and services. 
 
What You’ll Be Doing 
  • Provide administrative support to ensure activities are carried out accurately and according to plan and ensure compliance with documented processes 
  • Assist with the supervision and/or training of temporary and/or new staff 
  • Training of various stakeholders in respect of processes and procedures to be followed 
  • Create and maintain records, standard reports and spreadsheets to ensure information is up-to-date, easy to access and accurate 
  • Process routine invoices and/or fees and expenses, carrying out basic numerical calculations to ensure timeous payment and accounting 
  • Carry out filing of information to ensure it is stored accurately following relevant policies and procedures 
  • Contribute to the organisation’s continuous improvement initiatives by reviewing and recommending improvements to administrative procedures and systems 
  • Assist in system/User acceptance testing 
  • Provide a high level of customer service in respect to queries ensuring responses are issued promptly, accurately and following QS guidelines while maintaining key stakeholder relationships

What We’re Looking For 
  • As a minimum be educated to SCQF Level 4. 
AND/OR 
  • Be able to demonstrate direct relevant experience for this role 
  • Be able to operate Microsoft Office packages at the appropriate level for this role 
  • Be able to operate specialist IT systems relevant to this role 
  • Be able to understand and carry out basic numerical calculations
