Assistant Business Manager
Venesky-Brown’s client, a public sector organisation in Edinburgh, is currently looking to recruit an Assistant Business Manager for a 6 month contract with possible 3 month extension on a rate of £21.89/hour.
Must have a Disclosure Scotland / BPSS clearance or be preparwd to apply for one.
Responsibilities:
– Managing the Secretary’s inbox and diary and helping to co-ordinate and prioritise key tasks requiring the Secretary’s attention
– Taking minutes of meetings
– Tracking, and drafting routine replies to, correspondence
– Collating, printing, and issuing meeting papers
– Managing organisations records, including naming and filing documents in accordance with a records management plan
– Making administrative and logistical arrangements for organisations and committee meetings, and for visits and events involving organisations members and staff
– Assisting with the management of the organisation’s budget
Essential Skills:
– Experience of acting as an executive assistant/personal secretary
– Ability to manage own time and prioritise a varied workload to meet set deadlines, targets, and standards.
– Ability to communicate effectively and confidently with people at all levels, both internally and externally.
– Effective planning and organisational skills.
– Experience of drafting clear and accurate written work.
– Experience of using Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
