AutoCAD Technician
Venesky-Brown’s client, a public sector organisation in Edinburgh, is currently looking to recruit an AutoCAD Technician for an initial 3 month contract on a rate of £16.48 -£19.23/hour PAYE. This role will be hybrid working with initial onsite induction for the first week with remote working and occasional onsite working thereafter.
Responsibilities:
– Audit existing database and check that all buildings have up to date AutoCAD plans
– Obtain and upload plans for missing spaces/buildings
– Update where changes have not been updated
– Make recommendations based on current industry best practice for future process to maintain validity and currency of the database
– May also include review of plans archive (both physical and digital)
Essential Skills:
– Experience within similar role
– Experienced using AutoCAD, MS Word, Project, and Excel
– Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Desirable Skills:
– Knowledge of Computer Aided Facility Management (CAFM) software
