Business Anlayst
Venesky-Brown’s client, a public sector organisation in Glasgow, is currently looking to recruit 2 x Business Analysts until the 31st of March 2025 on a rate of £400-£450/day (Outside of IR35). These roles will be based onsite in Glasgow.

Responsibilities:
 
– Lead workshops and meetings to gather, document, and refine requirements from diverse groups of stakeholders / business users.
– Develop clear, detailed process maps using the organisation’s preferred modelling tool to document current and future processes, using best practices in process design and modelling standards.
– Analyse business processes and gather requirements through workshops, interviews, and research. Produce detailed, well-organised business requirement documents (BRD), user stories, and functional specifications that align with project objectives.

Essential Skills:
 
– Proven ability to lead workshops, manage group dynamics, and bring stakeholders to consensus.
– Proficiency with tools such Visio or ENGAGE for creating process diagrams and visual flows. Familiarity with BPMN is a plus.
– Strong analytical skills to translate business requirements into actionable project deliverables.
– Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to present complex ideas to both technical and non-technical audiences.
– Understanding of Agile principles and experience working in Scrum or Kanban teams. Ability to create clear, concise user stories and manage a backlog.
– Practical knowledge of ServiceNow modules, particularly ITSM, CSM, or ITOM, is a plus.
– A logical approach to identifying issues and implementing solutions.
– Ability to build and maintain effective working relationships with cross-functional teams.
– Precision and accuracy in documentation, with a focus on quality and clarity.
– Flexibility to adapt to changing project needs and stakeholder priorities
 
Desirable Skills:
 
– Degree in Business, Information Technology, or a related field.
– Professional certifications such as Certified Business Analysis Professional (CBAP), Scrum Master Certification are a plus.
– 3+ years of experience in a Business Analyst role, ideally within IT, customer service, or service delivery environments.
