Business Support Administrator
Venesky-Brown’s client, a public sector organisation in Shotts, is currently looking to recruit a Business Support Assistant for an initial 3 month contract on a rate of £16.22/hour PAYE – working 35 hours per week. This role will be based in Shotts.
Responsibilities:
– Responsible for performing a variety of administration tasks within the Business Management Unit, with focus on Data Protection, Subject Access Requests (SAR) and Freedom of Information (FOI) requests.
– Collate, audit and report on a range of information and respond to requests from external stakeholders.
– Provide administrative and secretarial support and provide cover for PA duties.
Essential Skills:
– Minimum of 2 National 5 qualifications, including English and Maths or equivalent qualification.
– Competent and experienced in the use of ICT tool, including Microsoft Office with a particular focus on excel.
– Competent and experienced in all aspects of administration.
– Experience in computerised databases.
– Excellent numeracy skills and attention to detail.
– Excellent Communication and interpersonal skills.
– Ability to prioritise workload to meet departmental deadlines.
– Ability to work individually and as part of a team.
– Ability to analyse, interpret and report on a range of information.
Desirable Skills:
– Experience in recording and producing accurate minutes.
