Cleaner
Venesky-Brown’s client, a public sector organisation in Dalkeith (near Edinburgh), is currently looking to recruit a cleaner asap for an initial 1month contract with potential to extend. The rate will be £13.25/hour PAYE. The role is to cover evening shifts – 4pm until 9pm Monday to Thursday and 3pm – 8pm on a Friday. This role will be based onsite in Dalkeith.
Responsibilities:
– Cleaning of designated areas within the premises to ensure they are kept in a clean and hygienic condition
– Provide assistance in the maintenance of a clean/healthy and safe working environment.
– Cleaning, washing, sweeping, vacuum cleaning, emptying of litter bins etc
– Maintaining the cleanliness of public access areas
– Removal of unwanted items/rubbish
– General office cleaning and working as part of a team
Essential Skills:
– Previous cleaning experience in an office environment
– Awareness of Health and Safety
– Effective interpersonal skills
– Ability to work as a member of a team
– Ability to plan and organise
