Community Works Operative
Venesky-Brown’s client, a public sector organisation in Skye & Kyle of Lochalsh , is currently looking to recruit 4 x Community Works Operatives on a rate of £12.45/hour PAYE. These roles will be based onsite. The working hours are 37 hours per week.
Responsibilities:
– Loading refuse and recycling collection vehicles, assisting with bulky collections, street sweeping and other related tasks. As well as loading, they may be required to assist with bin deliveries
Essential Skills:
– Awareness of Health & Safety within a working environment
– Ability to work as part of a team
– Ability to communicate effectively with colleagues and the public
– Good level of fitness
– Able to manage simple forms and paperwork as required 7. (manual handling certificate or the ability to attain qualification.)
Desirable Skills:
– Educational qualification or equivalent to a Scottish National 4 or better.
– Full valid UK Driver’s License if possible
