Data Officer
Venesky-Brown’s client, a public sector organisation in Edinburgh, is currently looking to recruit Data Officers for 3 month contracts on a rate of £15.02/hour PAYE or £20.50/hour Umbrella. These roles will be a combination of office and home working.
Responsibilities:
– Reviewing data for accuracy and data entry for Contract Purchase Agreement (CPA) and Smart Form (SF) records on the finance system.
– Tracking progress of deliverables to report to the Purchase to Pay (P2P) Workstream Lead.
– Responding to enquiries either by e-mail or telephone communications.
– Maintain the master CPA and SF report (MS Excel) which forms the basis of weekly status reports.
– Ad-hoc duties as directed by the P2P Workstream Lead
Essential Skills:
– Excellent IT skills, specifically MS Excel, MS Word and MS Outlook.
– Comfortable working with large scale databases
– Good working knowledge of MS Outlook
– Ability to follow instructions/processes
– Attention to detail and an eye for accuracy
– Strong administration skills – ability to prioritise competing tasks and workloads
Desirable Skills:
– MS Excel expertise including lookups or vlookups, pivot tables, conditional formatting/countifs/sumifs/formula including nested/textjoin or concatenation formula
