Data Systems Manager
Venesky-Brown’s client, a public sector organisation in Edinburgh/Glasgow, is currently looking to recruit an Data Systems Manager for a 12 week contract on a rate of £224.70/day (Inside IR35). This role will be hybrid.
Responsibilities:
– The Data Systems Manager will be responsible for data collection, data extraction, data analysis and dissemination in support of the implementation of the system.
Essential Skills:
– Experience as an Inventory / Material Control professional.
– Skills in data collection, extraction, analysis and dissemination of product and stock management information.
– Analytical skills.
– Technical knowledge of mainstream commercial e-Procurement, Logistics, Finance and associated solutions.
Desirable Skills:
– Evidence of excellent organisation skills and communication skills with both technical and non-technical people.
– Ability to effectively pass on knowledge to staff and strengthen their awareness of the inventory management computer system and related processes.
– Pro-actively manage and prioritise own workload.
– Ability to reassign priorities to meet deadlines in a changing environment.
– Self-motivation and ability to think logically.
