Estates Administrator
Venesky-Brown’s client, a public sector organisation in Kilmarnock, is currently looking to recruit an Estates Administrator for an initial 4 month contract with option to extend on a rate of £16.85/hour – working 35 hours per week. This role will be based in Kilmarnock.
Responsibilities:
– Undertaking general day-to-day administrative duties to support the effective running of the department.
– Processing annual leave requests and maintaining accurate staff records.
– Inputting and maintaining data on spreadsheets, ensuring accuracy and timeliness of information.
– Creating, updating and monitoring work orders on the Computerised Maintenance Management System (CMMS).
– Scanning, uploading and managing documents within SharePoint in line with information governance requirements.
– Placing orders and processing invoices, ensuring compliance with financial and procurement procedures.
Essential Skills:
– Proven experience in an administrative role, demonstrating the ability to manage a range of clerical and support tasks effectively.
– Fully competent in the use of Microsoft Office applications, with confidence in producing documents, spreadsheets and maintaining documents accurately.
Desirable Skills:
– Previous experience in the use of a Computerised Maintenance Management System (CMMS).
– Experience of using a financial or procurement system for placing orders and processing invoices.
