Event Sales Co-ordinator
Venesky-Brown’s client, a public sector organisation in Edinburgh, is currently looking to recruit Event Sales Administrator for an initial 3 month contract on a rate of £12.99/hour PAYE – working 37 hours per week. This role will be mainly based on site with some opportunity for hybrid work depending on the schedule.
 
Responsibilities:
 
– Arranging and facilitating venue viewing appointments with potential clients
– Responding to client enquiries professionally and promptly
– Providing quotes for events and managing contracts
– Managing the diary to optimise space utilisation and hire opportunities.
– Recording financial figures and tracking inquiries accurately in various logs and trackers.
– Collaborating closely with the on-site catering team (for design and operations) to ensure information is transferred correctly and timely.
 
Essential Skills:
 
– Experience working within a fast-paced and deadline focussed sales environment with an established sales team
– Demonstrate a pro-active and positive approach to planning
– Exceptional organisational, time management and prioritisation skills with the ability to problem solve and respond to changing work priorities in a positive and effective way
– Excellent communication skills with the ability to understand and interpret to client needs
– Experience of selling products across the portfolio including events and weddings
– Previous experience working within a similar role
– Knowledge of working Outlook, Word and Excel to a competent level
