Executive Assistant
Venesky-Brown’s client, a public sector organisation in Inverness, is currently looking to recruit a CEO Support for a 6-12 month contract on a rate of £21.57/hour (PAYE). This role will be hybrid based.
Responsibilities:
– Proactive forward planning of the CEO diary, including ensuring monthly site visits are scheduled and protected where possible, recognising the diary is heavily constrained and frequently shifting.
– End-to-end coordination for visits, including accommodation (where required), travel arrangements, key contacts, rooms/venues for any linked meetings, and ensuring a clear itinerary.
– Managing clashes and competing priorities, including recommending options (attend / delegate / reschedule) and identifying who the CEO could appropriately delegate to, escalating decisions where needed but applying judgement where it is clear-cut.
– Regular structured check-ins with the CEO to confirm priorities, anticipate pinch points and keep plans realistic and up to date.
– Robust communication and follow-through, ensuring actions are confirmed, stakeholders are kept informed, and changes are managed without disruption.
– They may also need to support in other areas of work.
