Finance Analyst
Venesky-Brown’s client, a public sector organisation in Melrose, is currently looking to recruit a Finance Analyst for an initial 6 month contract with possible extension on a rate of £275-£325/day (Inside IR35). To support and process finance data within ledgers & systems into meaningful information to support strategic financial planning as well as support BAU reporting needs.
Hybrid/remote working with occasional onsite meetings.
Essential Skills:
– Microsoft Excel proficiency incl. pivot tables, charts, graphs, tables.
– Microsoft Teams proficiency.
– Finance systems exposure.
Desirable Skills:
– Excel-spreadsheet modelling and analysis using formulae
– Power BI proficiency

-Boxi
– Relevant public sector systems proficiency
– Management accounting experience incl. draft report-writing (e.g. Year-to-Date, Forecasting, Variance Analysis)
