G3 Administrator – Marking Support
Venesky Brown Recruitment is delighted to be working in partnership with the Qualifications Scotland to recruit over 200 temporary staff including multiple Administrators with start dates as early as March and running through to July 2026.
These roles are based full time at the Qualifications Scotland Centre in Dalkeith and offer a fantastic opportunity to gain valuable experience in a fast-paced, customer-focused environment, with full training and ongoing support provided.
Shift Patterns Available – Monday to Sunday (5 days out of 7)
  • 8:00am – 4:00pm
  • 9.00am – 5:00pm
  • 1:00pm – 9:00pm
The Role
As an Administrator, you’ll provide high level, quality customer service and administrative support to enable the delivery of Qualifications Scotland products and services.
This is an excellent opportunity for people who enjoy helping others, solving problems, and working as part of a supportive team.
What You’ll Be Doing
  • Provide administrative support to ensure activities are carried out accurately and according to plan and to ensure compliance with documented processes.
  • Data entry: create and maintain records, standard reports and spreadsheets to ensure information is up-to-date, easy to access and accurate.
  • Carry out filing of information to ensure it is stored accurately following relevant policies and procedures.
  • Prioritise workload effectively to meet service-level agreements (SLAs) and operational deadlines.
  • Provide high levels of customer service in respect to queries ensuring responses are issued promptly, accurately and following Qualifications Scotland guidelines while maintaining key stakeholder relationships.
  • Carry out numerical calculations.
  • Communicate with internal customers via email.
  • Maintain a tidy work area and comply with all Health and Safety regulations.

What We’re Looking For
  • Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office.
  • Good communication, interpersonal and organisational skills.
  • Excellent customer service skills.
  • Be able to understand written and verbal communications.

  • Good, general administrative skills.
  • PC literate with proficient and accurate keyboard skills.
  • Flexible working approach and ability to work on own as well as part of a team.
  • Experience of working to tight deadlines.
  • Good written communication skills.
