Graduate Engineer
Venesky-Brown’s client, a public sector organisation in Lochgilphead, is currently looking to recruit a Graduate Engineer on a permanent basis on a salary of £33,213.00 to £45,860.00/annum. This role will be based onsite in Lochgilphead.
Responsibilities:
– Conducting inspections, assessments,
– Feasibility studies, cost estimates, budget monitoring,
– Engaging with the public and responding to enquiries,
– Consulting with stakeholders and public bodies,
– Securing licences and consents,
– Designing or overseeing the design of infrastructure, preparing tenders and contracts,
– Supervising construction sites, liaising with contractors, and managing projects anywhere from concept to completion.
Essential Skills:
– Completed the academic requirements of the Institution of Civil Engineers’ (or equivalent) Educational Base leading to Incorporated or Chartered Engineer status.
– A good communicator with the ability to develop effective relationships with colleagues in other departments; someone who is reliable, enthusiastic to learn and progress to at least Incorporated Engineer membership of the Institution of Civil Engineers (or equivalent).
– A willingness to travel to various locations within the organisation to undertake site supervision and inspections is also required as part of the role.
