HR Adviser
Venesky-Brown’s client, a public sector organisation in Glasgow, is currently looking to recruit a HR Adviser for a 6-month contract on a rate equivalent to a salary of £38,297 – £44,613 per annum. This is a hybrid role, with a mix of working at home and in the office.

Responsibilities:
- Provide general guidance and support to managers on a range of people-related matters.
- Offer advice in line with organisational policies and employment regulations.
- Assist in resolving workplace issues and support case management when required.
- Support and influence decision-making by offering insight on potential risks and outcomes.
- Promote best practices through a coaching approach, helping managers develop their confidence in handling people matters.
- Help ensure consistent application of policies and procedures.
- Work collaboratively within the team to contribute to effective people management across the organisation.
- Responsible for mitigating risk by empowering People Managers through a coaching approach to manage individual situations in line with policy
- Up to date employment knowledge, with recent experience in a similar human resources role
- Experience of interpreting and applying knowledge of employment law, regulations and interpreting HR policies
- Experience of coaching managers and providing challenges across a people agenda
- Experience in dealing with formal employee relations cases and conflict resolution
- Strong coaching skills with a track record in coaching people managers
- Knowledge of HR policies, processes and employment legislation
- Ability to assess and advise on risks associated with a variety of options/decisions/actions
- CIPD qualified
