Venesky-Brown’s client, a public sector organisation in central Edinburgh, is currently looking to recruit an HR Generalist for an initial 3 month contract with potential to extend for a further two months on an hourly rate of £17.59-£19.10 PAYE . This role is hybrid working 20-25 hours a week with flexible working hours, core working days Tuesday and Wednesday.
 
Responsibilities:
 
– To provide support across operational recruitment, Induction activity and with HR project work, eg HR policies updates, Equality Impact assessments, HR System implementation, recruitment process improvements.
 
Essential Skills:
 
– Degree level qualification and /or experience
– CIPD qualified or working towards
– Seasoned HR professional
– Sound knowledge of employment legislation and HR practice
– Experience of writing and updating HR policies in line with best practice
– Experience in undertaking Equality Impact assessments in relation to HR policies
– Experience in the management and roll out of HR systems and training of staff in the HR system
– Experience of recruitment process and best practice and Linkedin set up  for organisations
 
Desirable Skills:
 
– Experience of using YouManage HR system
– Experience of Using LearnPro HR system
