HR / Recruitment Assistant
Venesky-Brown’s client, a public sector organisation in Dundee, is currently looking to recruit a HR/Recruitment Assistant for a 3 month contract with possibility of an extension on a rate of between £20.29 and £21.23. This role will be hybrid based with 2 days per week in the office.
This role requires the succesful candidate to either have a Disclosure Scotland dated within 12 months or be willing to apply for a Disclosure Scotland.
Essential Skills:
– Working in a customer facing role (internal or external customers) as first point of contact (telephone, email or face to face).
– Experienced in recruitment environment.
– Competent in running direct recruitment campaigns from end to end (i.e. from authorisation/advert through to pre-employment checks/issuing contracts.
– Knowledge of leading briefings/wash-ups.
– Ability to facilitate assessments.
– IT literate – use Microsoft Office effectively, particularly Office 365.
– Clear and concise verbal and written communication skills.
– Ability to work co-operatively and supportively with others
– Prioritising and managing workload under board guidance.
– Keeps others informed of progress of work plan, targets, etc.
– Aware of recruitment trends and keeps own recruitment knowledge and skills up to date
Desirable Skills:
– Job analysis and assessment design.
– Focus on process improvement.
– Working with large quantities of electronic records, particularly numerical data.
– Coordinating and designing processes.
– Working with payroll.
– Working with ResourceLink or a similar HR/Payroll system.
– Use of SharePoint in a workplace setting – particularly to assist with day to day processes.
