Venesky-Brown’s client, a public sector organisation in Edinburgh / Glasgow, is currently looking to recruit an Investment Strategic Advisor for contract 13 March 2024 – 31 July 2025– working 4 days per week – market rate (Inside IR35). This role will be a hybrid of working at home and in the office.
 
Responsibilities:
 
– To carry out an advisory and challenge role to senior management, providing support to programme
– Support to programme, investment unit and DD/director
– Knowledge transfer across Investment Unit
 
 
Essential Skills:
 
– Highly skilled and impactful relationship-builder, with the confidence to create effective networks and partnerships with a wide range of key stakeholders across the public and private sector.
– Excellent written and oral communication skills with an ability to influence and persuade different audiences.
– Experience of shaping or developing programmes, making accurate and meaningful use of commercial, economic, and political data and evidence to deliver successfully, governance and assurance.
– Effective and inspirational leader with a track record of building and motivating high-performing teams, engaging and developing staff.
 
Desirable Skills:
 
– Experience of working in a highly visible and potentially sensitive environment
– Experience of investment and financial service
