Justice Assistant
Venesky-Brown’s client, a public sector organisation in Livingstone, is currently looking to recruit Justice Assistant x 2 for 6 month contracts on rates of £17.74/per hour (PAYE). The working hours for these roles will be 36 hours per week – usually between 8am-5pm however is negotiable.
You must have a PVG for this role or be prepared to apply for one.
Essential Skills:
– Significant previous experience of direct service user contact in a similar setting.
– Ability to work constructively with difficult and challenging people using authority appropriately.
– Proven experience of working in partnership with other services.
– Ability to understand and work within legislative and procedural frameworks.
– Ability to communicate to a high standard in written and verbal form.
Desirable Skills:
– HNC/SVQ Level 3 in Social Care; HNC/SVQ for Health Support Workers or other relevant qualification at a similar or higher level is desirable.
– Experience of working with those who offend.
– Previous experience of working with confidential materials.
– Ability to understand strategic significance of work and impact on wider community.
– An understanding of the need to work within allocated financial resources.
– Experience of meeting performance targets.
