Marketing Officer
Venesky-Brown’s client, a public sector organisation in North Lanarkshire, is currently looking to recruit a Marketing Officer for a contract until 31st January 2025 on a rate of £18.94/hour PAYE. This role is Monday to Friday, 35 hours per week.
Responsibilities:
– Contributing to the development of our Marketing and Communications strategy, you will look at innovative ways to engage our audiences with a key focus on increasing recruitment and maximising opportunities to grow the organisations profile offline and online.
– Contributing to the development of our digital content strategy, you will look at innovative ways to engage our audiences with a key focus on expanding our social media reach and impact;
— Devise strategies to drive online traffic to the organisation’s website;
– Improve the usability, design, content and conversion of the organisation’s website;
– Lead on development of the website;
– Utilise a range of techniques including paid search, SEO and PPC;
– Oversee the social media strategy.
– Evaluating customer research, market conditions and competitor data;
– Review new technologies and keep organisation at the forefront of developments in digital marketing;
– Take ownership of metrics relating to campaign performance, website, social media, delegate analysis and impact from any marketing-related initiatives.
– Prepare, plan, develop and project manage various marketing campaigns throughout the year to a variety of audiences (offline and online);
– Create and develop new innovative ways to communicate the organisation’s brand;
– Work closely with other team members to integrate the functions of marketing and communications throughout campaigns;
– Evaluate all campaign activity;
– Responsible for leading on market research;
– Develop and implement marketing plans for the curriculum areas;
– Co-ordinate marketing projects ensuring they are delivered to time and budget;
Essential Skills:
– Degree level qualification in a relevant subject or relevant experience
– Minimum 2 years’ experience in a marketing role (traditional and digital).
— Excellent knowledge of social media marketing and planning.
– Managing multichannel / Cross-Channel marketing;
– Experience managing PPC, SEO, email marketing and social media;
– Able to define, track and analyse the key metrics for traditional and digital marketing strategies;
-Relevant technical expertise, with a good understanding of and, ability to work with, different analytics packages and content management systems,
-Good understanding of traditional and digital marketing strategies you will ideally have proven experience building successful campaigns;
– Excellent communication skills, both written and oral.
– To deliver marketing activity that enhances recruitment, engagement and retention;
– To grow awareness of the organisation and its diverse work to internal and external stakeholders;
