MBA Administrator
Venesky-Brown’s client, a public sector organisation in Edinburgh, is currently looking to recruit an MBA Administrator for a 2 month contract on a rate of £15.33/hour PAYE. This role will be based onsite.
Responsibilities:
– To provide administrative/secretarial support to the MBA Team.
– The post holder will be required to provide professional, friendly and efficient administrative support across a number of student facing and team activities.
– A key focus for the role will providing a high level of customer service and working with colleagues in support of all team activities (i.e. MBA, EMBA and Online MBA).
– This will include but is not limited to: captioning of pre-recorded lectures and tutorials; responding to student queries; general administration of courses and record keeping.
Essential Skills:
– Vocational qualifications plus typically 1 year’s relevant experience or school education to Standard Grade or equivalent plus typically 2 years’ relevant work experience.
– High quality customer service skills.
– Fluent in English and competent literacy skills.
– Proficient IT skills and in-depth knowledge of MS Office and able to learn new software quickly.
– Ability to manage own workload including multiple tasks and working under time pressure.
– High quality of work and attention to detail.
Desirable Skills:
– Experience of working within a University environment.
– Experience of working with University of Edinburgh-specific systems.
– Experience of working with diverse stakeholders.
– Experience of working in a multicultural environment.
