Minute Taker
Venesky-Brown’s client, a public sector organisation in Dalkeith, is currently looking to recruit a Minute Taker for an initial 2 month contract on a rate of £15.14/hour PAYE – working up to 36 hours per week Monday-Friday. This role will be based onsite in Dalkeith.
Responsibilities:
– Attending and minuting relevant meetings including Looked After and Accommodated Children Reviews, Child and Adult Protection Case Conferences, and Multi-Agency Public Protection Arrangement meetings.
– Review reports in advance to become familiar with the material. Attend meeting to take the minute of the discussion and outcomes. Type the document, seeking input from experts as required.
Essential Skills:
– Have good interpersonal skills and knowledge of the various systems and software including Microsoft packages.
– Previous experience of working to strict deadlines, co-ordinating and taking minutes and producing complex documents.
– Be able to type at speed.
– May be required to minute meetings across Children Services, Adults and Criminal Justice therefore would need a disclose for both adults and children in place.
