.Net Developer
Venesky-Brown’s client, a public sector organisation in Edinburgh, is currently looking to recruit a .Net Developer for an initial 6 month contract with option to extend on a rate of £450-£500/day (Outside IR35). This role is not tied to a location. Completion of the projects will require regular attendance of team meetings/sprint planning weekly with other project members in person. The team is primarily located at Edinburgh city centre.
Responsibilities:
– Develop systems and workflows, integrating with existing case management application suite.
– API development to support the integration work in line with a modular and agile approach.
– Upgrading and support existing suite case management system to support modernisation.
– Perform impact assessment, produce documentation, option papers, and recommend solutions.
– Undertake technical impact analysis and business intelligence data analytics to inform design and scoping of technical options and solution proposals.
– Provide full documentation of new solutions, including developer on-boarding guide, deployment diagrams, troubleshooting and support reference.
– Ensure knowledge transfer to the Applications Development team
– Translate business specifications into technical task plans and sprints.
Essential Skills:
– Demonstrable experience in Oracle PL/SQL.
– In depth knowledge of .NET (Entity framework, .NET Core).
– Experience integrating new frontend and platforms with heterogeneous Case Management workflows and back ends.
– Experience in developing in API’s
– Expertise in frontend component technologies such as Angular
– Expert knowledge of Web development. HTML / CSS / Javascript / AJAX.
Desirable Skills:
– Experience developing software in a secure network environment processing highly sensitive data and delivering solutions compliant with of Cyber Security standards (NCSC, OWASP, PSNP)
– In depth knowledge of messaging and integration middleware such as RabbitMQ or ActiveMQ, JMS.
– Experience AIX and LINUX OS, VMWare
