Venesky-Brown’s client, a public sector organisation with various sites across Scotland, is currently looking to recruit 2 x Network Deployment Specialists until the end of March 2025 on a rate of £234/day (Inside of IR35). These roles will be located across various sites within Scotland, including Islands.

Responsibilities:
 
– Deploy Cisco network configurations across multiple sites.
– Build and install network hardware, ensuring proper setup and functionality.
– Troubleshoot and resolve network issues promptly.
– Collaborate with other team members to ensure seamless network operations.
– Maintain detailed documentation of network configurations and installations.
– Provide technical support and guidance to other team members as needed.

Essential Skills:
 
– Proven experience in deploying Cisco network configurations.
– Strong knowledge of network infrastructure and hardware.
– Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
– Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
– Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
– Relevant certifications (e.g., CCNA, CCNP) are a plus.
– Ability to travel to various sites as required.
– Driving license
 
Desirable Skills:
 
– Experience with network security protocols and best practices.
– Familiarity with other networking equipment and technologies.
