Venesky-Brown’s client, a public sector organisation in Stirling, is currently looking to recruit an Oracle Developer until the 28th of March 2025 with potential to extend on a rate of £500-£525/day (Inside IR35). This role will be remote based.
 
Responsibilities:
 
– You will be part of an established agile delivery team working to deliver a new back-office database and associated Oracle APEX application.
 
Essential Skills:
 
– Proven experience in Oracle RDBMS database development. Design, develop and modify relational database objects including Tables, View, Packages, Triggers and Indexes. 
– Proficiency in building user interfaces using Oracle APEX development environment (up to v23). 
– Strong skills in PL/SQL and SQL. 
– Competence in HTML, CSS, and JavaScript for front-end development. 
– Experience with REST API development. 
– Familiarity with CI/CD practices and tools (e.g., MS DevOps). 
– Experience with version control systems (e.g., Git). 
– Understanding and experience with Agile methodologies. 
 
Desirable Skills:
 
– Experience with Azure cloud infrastructure. 
– Knowledge of MS DevOps. 
– Experience with other database systems (e.g., SQL Server, Cosmos DB). 
– Familiarity with MS Power Platform/Dynamics 365. 
– Front-end web development experience with JavaScript frameworks (e.g., Angular, NodeJS).
