Prisoner Services Assistant
Venesky-Brown’s client, a public sector organisation in Peterhead, is currently looking to recruit a Canteen Assistant for a 3 month contract on a rate of £13.76/hour PAYE. 37 hours a week – Monday to Thursday 7.30-3.30 and Friday 7.30-3
Responsibilities:
– Contribute to the delivery of an effective and efficient internal grocery/shopping service, in accordance with agreed timescales by accurately picking, scanning, and packing individual orders.
– Contribute towards an effective stock management system (weekly/monthly physical stock checks) by recording stock reports and interrogating any discrepancies when they are identified
– To accurately process individual orders through the computerised till system ensuring compliance with Policies and Audit Processes.
– Delivery of goods, involving the driving of the Van, and the loading and offloading of goods, to the accommodation areas.
– The receiving and checking of the weekly Canteen stock delivery.
– To multi-task and provide a supporting role throughout the Finance and Admin department, including the processing of the weekly wages, and other tasks, as directed by the First Line Manager, to ensure deadlines are met within the Finance and Admin Function
