Product Owner – Outside IR35
Venesky-Brown’s client, a public sector organisation in Edinburgh, is currently looking to recruit a Product Owner for an initial 6 month contract on a rate of £450-£500/day (Outside IR35). This role will be a hybrid of working at home and in the office – expected to be on site at least 6 days per month.
Responsibilities:
– Collaborating with User Researchers and the project team to collect and analyse user feedback, identifying key areas for improvement or adjustment and ensuring these findings are communicated with the project team and stakeholders.
– Using feedback from Beta Users, and in discussion with Stakeholders, prioritise build activity to ensure the service effectively meets project goals and user needs. Continuously refining and prioritising the product backlog to ensure that the development team focuses on the most critical tasks during the Beta phase
– Working with the team to refine user stories and acceptance criteria based on Beta feedback, ensuring that new features and improvements are clearly defined and understood
– Regularly updating stakeholders on the progress, challenges, and decisions made during the Beta phase to maintain transparency and manage expectations
– Contribute towards ensuring that the service complies with DSSS and any regulatory requirements, and that evidence is gathered and recorded in preparation for assessment
– Coordinating with Comms team, Service Support, and Operations teams to prepare for the full launch of the service, including planning for user support, customer communications, and operational readiness.
Essential Skills:
– Experience of working in an Agile systems development project team
– Experience of working with Digital Design teams
– Experience in full digital service delivery lifecycle
