Project Assistant
Venesky-Brown’s client, a public sector organisation in Moray, is currently looking to recruit a Project Assistant for an initial 8-week contract, with potential to extend, on a rate of £175-£200/day (Inside IR35). This is a part-time role, working 3 days per week on a hybrid basis in the Moray region.

Responsibilities:
- To support the Programme Manager and Commercial Innovation Lead by undertaking administrative and coordination activities relating to the delivery of the Digital programme of activities. Including the administration of Microsoft 365 Teams within the project group and financial administration/reporting.
- To support the development, planning, delivery and reporting of commercial simulations
- To support the production of project information, including monitoring and reporting progress against agreed Programme Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)
- To support the Programme Manager and Commercial Innovation Lead in the production of project and progress reports for example Project Highlight Reports, Board Reports etc
- To organise and attend meetings as requested by the Programme Manager, Commercial Innovation Lead or other stakeholders with organisations. Including organisation of agendas and papers, minute taking and distribution, collaborating with team members and stakeholders to ensure that relevant deadlines are met
- To co-ordinate and attend events and workshops (face to face, digital and hybrid), ranging from small workshops/events to large multi-stakeholder groups.
- To plan and manage your own work activities ensuring effective project co-ordination and support, independently resolving conflicting timescales and priorities to maintain project and programme timelines and milestones
- To build and support relationships by engaging with multiple stakeholders.
- To Build effective working relationships with other departments, including the Project Management Office (in head office) supporting the effective reporting and sharing of information.
- To Undertake any other duties as appropriate to the grade and content of the post as directed by the Programme Manager and Commercial Innovation Lead
Essential Skills:
- A Minimum of an HNC level qualification in a relevant discipline
- Relevant work experience
- Excellent file management skills
- High level written and verbal communication skills
- Time management skills with ability to effectively multitask
- Enthusiastic and professional manner
- Willingness to learn and adapt to new tasks and activities
- Willingness to travel from time to time to support the delivery of projects
Desirable Skills:
- Experience of supporting projects
- Experience of working in either digital, health and social care or academic sectors
- Experience of organising workshops, events and meetings
- Experience in financial administration
- Experience of working in a multi-stakeholder environment, working with stakeholders from different professions and cultures
- Excellent IT skills and proficient in working with Microsoft 365, particularly Excel, Word, Outlook, Teams and SharePoint.
- Ability to work with Visio. Ability to use Apple and Microsoft devices, operating system and software.
- Skills in financial management
