Project Support Manager
Venesky-Brown’s client, a public sector organisation in Edinburgh, is currently looking to recruit x 2 Project Support Managers for initial 12 month contracts on a rate of £18.48/hour PAYE. These roles will be a hybrid of working at home and in the office.
Responsibilities:
– Co-ordinate data management and movement from collection through the security pass printing and access control system integration process.
– Work with colleagues to set up and manage role based access control profiles for security pass holders.
– Work with colleagues to set up and manage access control points within the access control system.
– Interrogate data for accuracy, correcting errors when identified.
– Provide reports on access rights and appropriate system information to management and other authorised data processors/controllers when required.
– Day to Day management of the access control system (shared with Security Operations colleagues).
– Work with various colleagues and service providers to identify any issues and resolve in line with project delivery timescales.
– Attend various project delivery meetings to represent the security team and specifically on data and system management.
– Support the monitoring of the project mailbox, responding to enquiries within agreed timescales.
– Support other areas of the project as required.
– Issue requests for authorised building users to complete the online information request and photo upload process, providing support to users through this process.
– Manage the security pass printing function for the project.
– Work with colleagues to review the current processes and procedures offering insight and proposing improvements and efficiencies.
– Co-ordinate the distribution of passes, including attending various sites to issue passes, if required.
– Working with colleagues to ensure security passes are operational at the correct time.
– Attend various project meetings representing the security team and specifically your area of interest in the project.
– Support the monitoring of the project mailbox, responding to enquiries within agreed timescales.
– Support other areas of the project as required.
– Work with communications and engagement colleagues to develop communication materials and support the delivery of these across the organisation and other authorised site users.
– Support other areas of the project as required.
Essential Skills:
– Demonstrated ability to analyse, develop, maintain and review systems and services to ensure delivery of effective solutions which fit the organisational context.
– Demonstrated ability to develop, influence and maintain strong and constructive working relationships with a range of partners and stakeholders.
– A track record of delivering system or service improvements.
– Experience of working in a fast-paced environment, with high levels of personal autonomy.
