Recruitment Administrator
Venesky-Brown’s client, a public sector organisation in Edinburgh, is currently looking to recruit an Recruitment Administrator for a contract until end December 2025 on a rate between £15.18 – £16.32/ hour (PAYE).
Responsibilities:
– Help to cover general queries in the inbox (can I apply for this role, do you offer sponsorship, R+ application issues, speculative applications – mostly templated replies)
– Paperwork – contracts etc
– Ardoch staff, full process
– Offer to start vetting process for hires
– Communication with hiring managers (calls, emails, teams) to chase paperwork, understand their timeline and keep them updated on progress. Support any queries on process and system.
– Communication with candidates to chase documents, information, clarify
– System candidate set up
Essential Skills:
– Understanding of recruitment compliance and process – good decision making and ability to take logical steps to meet the principles behind the process
– Strong communicator
– Attention to detail
– Organisation and prioritisation skills
– Able to work at pace
– Able to report progress clearly and escalate in good time
– Systems savvy (able to pick up systems and troubleshoot user issues)
– Outlook, Word, Teams, Excel
